WEDDING BOOKINGS:

BOOKING FEE & PAYMENTS

1. A minimum booking fee of £50 is required immediately to secure your wedding date. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final balance. A date cannot be held without a booking fee and will remain open to other enquiries until the booking fee is paid. The purpose of the booking fee is to hold a date against outside interest and secure your business, which means other potential clients are turned away.

2. Peak wedding season bookings hold a minimum booking total which should be outlined to you in the initial correspondence. Bookings with a total below the minimum will only be taken at my discretion, otherwise the minimum fee applies. The minimum booking is to include the Bride for hair &/or makeup and excludes travel.

3. Services are non-deductible and cannot be cancelled due to the amount of time that has been allocated and reserved for travel and completion of services for your wedding day. This is to also protect the client's booking as well as the artist's business. The client must be completely confident of how many would like a makeup and/or hair service at the time of paying the booking fee as services are non-deductible and still chargeable even in the event of someone cancelling their place. Failure to pay the full agreed total will result in the booking not going ahead and no refunds will be given. Once the booking fee has been paid to the artist the client fully understands and agrees with the terms and conditions of this contract. Additions may be made later on but cannot always be guaranteed to be accommodated, especially at very late notice.

4. Trial payments are to be paid in full on the trial day in cash, or paid a minimum of 2 days before the trial via bank transfer. If the payment has not cleared into the account by the start of the trial, a cash payment may still be requested. If a second payment is received this will always be refunded to you or deducted from your wedding day balance, whichever you prefer.

5. The remaining final balance for the wedding day booking is to be paid in full, regardless of any drop in services needed, a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the wedding day via bank transfer and on a working day, the date will be outlined in your booking fee receipt.

6. Should you miss your final payment deadline you will be reminded once of your overdue payment. Failure to pay within 48 hours after this reminder will be seen as a failure to make payment, which may automatically be deemed as you terminating your booking and therefore result in the date no longer being available to you.

7. Payment of the booking fee signifies that you acknowledge and accept the business terms & conditions.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

1a. In the event of date changes or cancellation by the client with plenty of notice, the booking fee will not be returned (see 6a.) but can be partly used as credit towards a future service within 1 month from the date of cancellation. The sum retained will cover any admin time that has been dedicated to your booking and the handling of the cancellation. Should the date be moved, a new booking fee will be required to secure the new date and the old fee seen as exhausted/used. The rates of services may be updated to reflect any price increases related to a new year of interest. Booking fees distributed to second artists/stylists in order to secure their booking on your wedding are not covered by these terms & conditions. For partial cancellations, the final total outlined in your booking fee receipt will remain unchanged.

2a. In the event of a full or partial cancellation by the client where notice is given less than 1 month prior to the wedding, no credit or voucher will be offered. Any monies paid relating to the wedding will be retained and the final total outlined in your booking fee receipt will remain unchanged.

3a. In the event of full or partial cancellation by the client where notice is given less than 2 weeks prior to the wedding, no credit or voucher will be offered. The monies paid will be retained to counter loss of income.

4a. All changes to the wedding arrangements, services scheduled, that directly affect me or my timings must be agreed upon 1 month before the wedding day. No changes can be accepted after the final payment has been made; within 2 weeks before the wedding or on the wedding day itself. Any services that are deducted from the schedule remain chargeable, the time allocation will still be available to you, therefore you may find a replacement to fill the "empty seat".

5a. In the unlikely event that I am unable to perform the agreed services due to unforeseen circumstances or unavoidable situations preventing me from getting to you, any and all payments (excluding money paid for work already done) will be returned to you; the client. It is the responsibility of the client to request a refund within 6 months of the booking; this is the business 'Notice Period'.

6a. If you cancel or postpone your wedding date with me, your original booking fee will be retained as outlined in 1a, but in some circumstances I may be able to book a new wedding client on your cancelled date. If I am able to secure a full new booking for your original date within 1 month from your cancellation, or by the original date, whichever is shortest, I will refund some of your booking fee to you. This is not a mandatory client entitlement, it would be done as a gesture of good will and completely at my discretion based on each circumstance. It is the responsibility of the client to request a refund within 6 months of their booking; this is the business 'Notice Period'. The sum refunded will be based on the amount of admin time that has already been dedicated to your booking, I sum retained will cover my admin fee.

TRAVEL FEES

1b. A travel fee will be determined prior to booking by distance and location, considering any tolls on the route and quoted before the booking fee is taken. If location changes are made by the client post booking fee payment, the travel fee will be reconsidered and quoted for. All incurred parking fees where free options are not available or not considered safe, will be charged for.

2b. Travel to any booking, excluding the first 10 miles, is calculated at 0.50p a mile (round trip) from the starting point BH24 3RF.

3b. For destination weddings; all ground travel/ transportation, parking, airfare, subsistence & accommodation costs, pertaining to the booking itself, must be covered.

4b. If your wedding start time requires me to leave my home before 5.30am, an "unsociable hours commute" surcharge will be added to your booking, either at the time of booking or later if your timings change or you add services onto the booking at a later date.

TIMINGS & LOGISTICS

1c. In order to effectively carry out services, the client will need to ensure there is a good sized, desk height flat surface; usually a table, available at the location for setting up on. Alongside this, a power outlet and a chair/stool is also required if hair services are part of the booking. Please keep in mind, good lighting especially natural daylight is preferable and provides the best results. Consider allocating an area by a window for services to be carried out in. For makeup applications, I will bring my makeup high chair with me to every booking. If the requirements above are not provided, this may result in delays which I cannot be held responsible for, or result in the service being unable to be carried out altogether.

2c. All services must be carried out in one location only, moving between locations in order to complete the booking will not be permitted. Once "set-up" has been completed, the location cannot be changed/ moved unless agreed beforehand, there may be a surcharge.

3c. An allocation of 15 minutes is needed at the start and end of every booking for set-up and packing away, please consider this and plan for the delay it may cause you when services are taking place somewhere where you plan to empty the premise & lock up before leaving but are required to wait. If you require me to lock up a premises as you wish to leave, i cannot be held responsible for any losses or incidents encountered as a result of being left with this responsibility. Due care has always & will always be taken.

4c. Time allocation will be carefully considered for each and every service and a start time for each client within the booking will be outlined and agreed upon with the booking customer directly.

5c. It is in the best interest of the bride and/or the bridal party that everyone booked for services is available at their scheduled time. Delays caused due to punctuality issues or disruptions during the application by those included for services, may result in rushed & inefficient work being carried out. In these circumstances, I cannot be held responsible for not completing the work in the agreed time-frame or for causing the bride/party further delays. I cannot be held responsible for not completing the work in the agreed time-frame if your other suppliers interrupt me working and prevent me from adequately, or fully completing the service/services.

6c. A second Artist/Stylist may be sourced & booked onto your booking by me to help complete services should you decide either you do not favour an early start or the venue won't allow you the time needed. I charge a minimum of £50 to do this on your behalf. The travel fee required by the second artist to arrive at your venue will need to be covered by you the client but all correspondence and arrangements with them will be conducted by me. I will only do this if instructed by the client to do so. I do not have a team at my disposal therefore I will need to make enquiries but will confirm all details with you before finalising. You will be asked to pay the fee to secure the second artist/stylist booking. If 2 services, quoted as one joint package, later need to be split between artists, this may result in a re-quote.

6c1. Once a second Artist/Stylist has agreed to the contract and has been brought on to your booking, no changes to their final payment can be accepted as this may result in the loss of the second Artist/Stylist from the booking. They may no longer find the booking desirable as it has deferred from the original contract and wish to seek their own work. Please note you are always welcome to find a second Artist/Stylist yourself to work alongside me so that you have a direct contract with them yourself.

ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES

1d. I must be made aware of any allergies, skin conditions or sensitivities before any services are carried out. I cannot be held liable for any complications due to allergies or intolerance to the products. If the client detects they are reacting negatively to any products, they must inform me straight away. Unfortunately I cannot always guarantee or confirm the ingredients of any product in my kit.

2d. Any client can request to have their own products used in the application should they be worried about allergies or sensitivities. In this circumstance, I cannot be held liable for the longevity or performance of the application. The cost of services cannot be subsidised in this case.

Payment of the booking fee signifies that you acknowledge and accept the business terms & conditions outlined in the literature above. Please note; "Covid-19 Terms & Conditions" will be outlined to you in email correspondence upon receiving your initial contact form should it be deemed necessary only.
